MY SERVICES START WITH A FREE CONSULTATION VISIT.

Every garden and every person is different, so I like to meet everyone I work for and visit the garden in person, before I tailor the above services to whatever is best for you and your green space. With that in mind, as not everyone has experience of booking a gardener, please see below for a rough guide of what you can expect and what I usually arrange with my customers.

To arrange a free consultation visit to discuss how my services could help your garden or green space, get in touch via the links below.

WHERE I WORK

Usually within the following towns and their surrounding areas - Waterlooville (Horndean, Denmead, Cowplain, Clanfield, Catherington, Widley, Purbrook), Hambledon, Rowland’s Castle, Southwick, Cosham, and some parts of Havant.

Depending on my availability however, I may be able to take on work anywhere within the area marked on the map below. If you live within this area, drop me a line and we’ll discuss, I may still be able to help!

For garden design - every garden and its owner is unique, so fees will vary depending on garden size and your requirements. However, I always charge a fair initial fee to create a rough ‘mock up’ of your new garden for you. If you decide to go ahead, there will be a subsequent full fee for me to complete thorough design documents which will include drawings and blueprints of your new garden in 2D and 3D, a full and detailed plant list, as well as recommendations on feature finishes, etc.

For garden maintenance - most people hire me on an ongoing arrangement as gardens require regular upkeep, especially during the spring, summer and autumn months. These bookings are usually agreed for a set number of hours, and are normally on a weekly/fortnightly basis, but less regular arrangements (monthly) can also be made if suitable.

On average, most smaller, multi-element jobs take between 2-4 hours (ie. regular maintenance such as weeding, lawns, planting, pruning, etc) - but I will always make a fair assessment and clearly let you know what I can achieve within the time agreed on the first visit.

While I usually operate an ongoing booking system, if you’d rather book on an ad-hoc basis, that is absolutely fine as well. Please note I currently only accept 2 hour minimum bookings.

Most maintenance style jobs are subject to a base rate of £25 per hour. Bigger projects or more specialist work may cost a little more.

I also offer a day rate package, which is for those bigger jobs - ie. design projects, landscaping, full garden clearance, large gardens, design/advice and garden features. I offer this package at a discounted rate.
